Sales Team Candidate Sourcing
When sourcing candidates, we use the full range of available techniques including advertising (both print and web-based), search (head-hunt) or a combination thereof. We do maintain a modest database of good quality candidates. However, these represent only a small percentage of the enormous number of salespeople from whom we receive CVs and have been assessed by us. Most of them we would not employ ourselves so why should we expect you to do so?
If we were to actively market candidates in the way agencies do, inevitably there would be instances where the prospect of a placement fee would colour our judgement as to the genuine suitability of individuals to given roles.
We prefer to avoid that conflict of interest as our intent is always to help clients hire the right person for the job. Hence the emphasis of our recruitment activities is finding people for jobs, not jobs for people. |
